Our home decor style isnt necessarily masculine or feminine, but I know I want my office and powder bathroom to feel elegant and feminine. Here’s the wallpaper I’m eyeing for the powder room.
It’s floral but a bit muted, and I love the larger print. I’ve got my eye out for a sale – I just missed one a few weeks ago! I browsed through several sites for other options but kept coming back to this Artemis wallpaper.
My mom and I went antiquing while she was visiting to find a cabinet or table of sorts for the powder room. I knew I wanted a place for guests to place a purse and also serve as functional storage. We found a local antique mall and came home with this ivory cabinet, pink bud vase, and mirrored tray. I was inspired by the staging Anthropologie set up for the wallpaper and might even paint the trim. Extra toilet paper rolls live in the HomeGoods basket on the bottom shelf.
This donkey is a cutie and an ode to our life in Texas, but he may have to find a new home! I’m thinking of moving him to Reid’s office, but not until the wallpapering happens.
I’m leaning towards papering the whole room. Or maybe three walls with one painted a complementary color? I just don’t think I can commit to a wall treatment to only do the top half. I know I don’t want it to be an accent wall and I would rather be absorbed by the space. Go big or go home! Hopefully this project can happen this summer.
